Announcement of a Short Course Training:
‘Economic Modeling for Food Security Analysis’
The University of Nairobi in collaboration with Food Security Centre of University of Hohenheim, Germany, is offering short course training at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Upper Kabete campus.
The course is funded by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Title of the course: Economic Modeling for Food Security Analysis
Dates: 14th -18th December 2015, everyday from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm
The guest lecturer is Prof. Victor Okoruwa from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Other lectures include Dr. Catherine Kunyanga of the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology and Dr. John Mburu of the Department of Agricultural Economics. There will be a whole day field trip as part of the training.
