THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS, FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

The Department of Agricultural Economics is looking for a part-time lecturer to assist in teaching Agricultural Extension, Sociology and Development, Community Development, and Social Change and Development at Bachelors level during the academic year 2016/2017, from September 2016 to August 2017.

Applicants must have at least a Masters degree in Agricultural Extension, Rural Sociology or related field from a recognized university. Those with experience of teaching at the university level will have an added advantage. 

The successful applicant will be expected to prepare and deliver class lectures and practicals/fieldwork. They will also set, administer and mark continuous assessment tests and end of semesters’ exams, as per the Faculty of Agriculture academic schedule of activities. 

Applicants should submit by e-mail a cover letter stating the specific areas of specialization and experience, and provide certified copies of academic certificates, and curriculum vitae. The applications should be submitted by 1500 hours on Tuesday, 6th September 2016.
