Africa Center of Excellence on Sustainable Operations for Resource Management and Food Supplies (SCO)

                                                      PREAMBLE

WHEREAS the University of Nairobi is a public institution of higher learning registered under the Universities Act, 2012 and University of Nairobi Charter, 2013 and has inter alia as one of its objectives, to provide directly or in collaboration with other institutions of higher learning facilities for University education including technological and professional education and research; and participate in the discovery and transmission of knowledge and the stimulation of intellectual life and cultural development of Kenya. 

Considering that Kühne Logistics University gGmbH is a not-for-profit limited liability organization in higher education, and domiciled at Großer Grasbrook 17, 20457 Hamburg, Germany. KLU is associated with the Kühne Foundation (hereinafter the "Affiliate"), that was established by the Kühne family, under the laws of Switzerland, with its headquarters at Dorfstraße 50, 8834 Schindellegi, Switzerland. 

KLU was established to provide best-in-class higher education in the subject area of management, specialized in organizational, logistics, operations and supply chain management. KLU aims to deliver globally leading excellence in teaching and research.
