As part of postgraduate student research, CMAAE student [Jimson Nyambu Mwikamba] organized a focus group discussion [FGD] in Wundanyi sub-county, Taita-Taveta County to validate his field survey questionnaires before conducting farm-level data collection. Participants in the FGD comprised climate smart horticulture farmers, agricultural extension officers, input suppliers and traders of green grams and tomatoes. The supervisor [Dr. David Jakinda Otieno] also attended the event as part of his supervision work and in order to make necessary clarifications during the discussions. The research is supported by Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project [KCSAP].
